Music Academy Cafeteria
About Music Academy Cafeteria
The Akademia Muzyczna is located at the west-end of Sw. Tomasza street. The sound of recitals, music exams, and of the chatter of innocent Polish music students fills its halls. Take the elevator to the top (7th) floor to get to the restaurant.
The restaurant is basically a small student cafeteria similar to a "bar mleczny", or milk bar, which means it is a cheap self-serve eatery with decent polish staples.
The food is passable, but the reason you come here is for the view. Two-thirds of the seating is a panoramic rooftop terrace overlooking the old town. You have an unsurpassed view of Wawel castle to the south, of the Skeletor building to the east, and you are eye-to-eye with the hejnal trumpeter atop the Mariacki church, 100m away.

luckily most tourists would probably be too scared to brave so many locals to get to their food ;)
