About Kerhwieder in TLÜ
The places are really more just cafes than restaurants. You can get different kind of hot and cold drinks there, also snacks, pre-made salads from the freezer, pre-made sandwiches, small choice of cakes, fruits and sweets.
On the first floor there is also a daily soup (1.60EUR) and stew (2.25EUR), though they run out of them before the place is closed usually. And the prices are annoyingly high also.
The design of the places is really quite cool and etno-stylish, with runic writing and Estonian symbols, while still modern and comfortable.
If you want to eat, you should go to the canteen in Terra house of Tallinn University (in the same area actually), which has a great choice and the prices are lower, but it's only open until 4pm, as in Kerhwieder is open until 18.30.
If you just wish to have a coffee on the go (to keep you up in the lecture), Kerhwieder is a good idea.
