Revolver is one of Oslo's coolest yet least pretentious bars. Its main bar is small but open late (from 1800-0330 daily) and there's also a dining area that doubles up occasionally for DJ sets or intimate live concerts. Downstairs there's a seriously rock'n'roll club space that hosts retro club nights on weekends and occasional concerts from an eclectic range of artists, from an annual one-man-band festival to international garage rock acts. Also one of the few bars in Oslo that serves San Miguel on tap (which can be a relief after a poor Norwegian pilsener). Signage isn't Revolver's strongest suit, so if you're walking down Møllergata you might miss it if you're not looking out for telltale signs like people enjoying a drink.
