About Wynn
Set alongside the relentless run of themed hotels along the Las Vegas Strip (The Venetian, Luxor, Treasure Island) the twin curved towers of Wynn and Encore seem rather self-effacing, in a gold-facaded sort of way. It's casino floor is much smaller than those in most of the other hotels, but the prices of the rooms, food and drinks clearly make up for any short-changing by the gamblers.
The rooms are just excellent, with striking views over Las Vegas Boulevard on the front, and an 18-hole golf course at the back. There's also the excellent heated outdoor swimming pool where in the low season you can enjoy being a single swimmer tended by no less than five lifeguards. Safety indeed.
