Right off the main street in the heart of Szczecin is Helios Mall and on the ground floor, the Subway is a beacon of hospitality, and top notch customer service, making it stand out from all the competition in a country not known for customer service. The huge glass front reinforce the openness, and the smell of fresh baked bread makes you feel just like you are in a Subway in the states. All employees speak English, from the owner, to every person who welcomes you and takes your order. In addition to the great customer service, the restaurant is sparkling clean, and there is wi-fi and of course free refills, just like the good ol US of A. They even have ice, and the Subway club card, where you get stamps for every purchase. The owner recognized me the second time I went in.
