My new ‘local’ seems destined for life as one of the unsung heroes of the Krakow scene. Zwierzyniecka doesn’t get too much idle footfall and sadly Nowy Swiat is often rather sparsely populated, which is a huge pity.
It’s not far outside the old town, and is a mere stone’s throw from the Sheraton Hotel (and vastly superior to the hot-pants-and-flatscreen-TV bar there) but obviously needs to flex its marketing muscle much better because apparently not many people know about it or can be bothered making a small detour to stop by.
The whole place is such a beautiful blend of typical Krakow old fashionedness with a few modern twists and every time I’ve been there I’ve felt almost like I’m sitting at home enjoying my coffee/lunch/whatever. Get yourselves down there and support a great place!
