I’d seen this place several times before I finally dropped in to see what it was all about but, and I can’t help feeling it’s a big BUT from the point of view of the owners of ‘Caffe Latte’, always through the window of a bus or tram. It really isn’t the most conveniently situated place, unless you happen to be a student at the nearby university but even for most of them it’s in the wrong direction as they head home.

As for the place itself, it’s a fairly creditable, hip and happening place with reasonable prices, equally reasonable coffee and a good selection of light bites for lunch. Also, fairly generously, they let you check your email on the bartop computer for free- great news for those who are too impatient to wait until they can sit down with their drink and log on to the WiFi.

Sadly, free internet and a dedicated non-smoking section aside, it doesn’t offer much to make you go out to Rondo Mogilskie rather than going for a more central location. If you find yourself nearby with time to kill then it’s worth dropping in and I’d love to say I would head out of town just to come here but the simple truth is I wouldn’t.
