One of the last remaining 1950's type of Warsaw bar! Strange, coloured papier mache coated walls. Mirrors and shelving surround the walls so that you sit facing yourself and you can also spy on all other customers. Cheap beers, nice old ladies in nylon housecoats behind the bar and a selection of eccentric old guys staring into their beers and mumbling about why they didn't buy their apartments on Nowy Swiat in 1947 when the building didn't have a roof or a front door but it only cost 12 Zloty. As the day progresses Bajka starts filling up with cigarette smoke, by closing time (10pm) visibility is down to about 5cm and you smell like an ashtray that has never been emptied!
