A funky, colorful ambience. Cafe Csiga is cheerfully-decorated bar, cafe, and restaurant. Csiga, which means snail in Hungarian, is the perfect place to bring your laptop, a good book, or just to chat with some new friends at the bar. The food is exceptionally good and offered at a fair value. The ingredients are of a higher quality than many other spots in the city and with the chill atmosphere, make for a great dining experience with friends on one of the big wood tables around. Once a rough part of the city, the square is now home to many construction cranes digging a new metro station, a very authentic Magyar (Hungarian for Hungarian!) marketplace, and near many of the city's best nightlife- though not too near to be overcrowded! An afternoon goulash, beer and coffee here are an absolute delight! (Oh yeah, and check out the toilets! The may not be the cleanest, but they are the brightest!!!)
