Difficult to pronounce and equally difficult to find as it's so tiny from the outside. The Gulzige Geus (roughly translated as The Greedy Pirate) is a fun, friendly pub run by the charismatic Mr.Rick. Home to many of Leiden's bikers and outlaws who once they get used to you coming in more than once turn out to be some of the nicest folk you could ever meet. Be very careful navigating the steep wooden stairs to the toilet though. I also highly recommend Mr.Rick's unique Turkish sausage, chilli sauce and pickled gherkin toasties!
