About No name cafe

Presumably it is the only café in Cracow without its own official name. Although on the building facade above the entrance there are still some letters left visible on an old wooden board. An attentive reader could be able to get out the inscription ‘Mleczarnia’ (in translation – ‘Dairy’) of the peeling paint. However, the regular customers call the café differently – ‘Obrusy’ (‘Cloths’) or simply ‘No name’. That dim and gloomy artistic lumber-room full of original pictures, furniture and striking black and white faces from times gone by watching you from all the weathered photographs reminds of an old curiosity shop. In its candlelight evenings Mleczarnia attracts wandered amateurs of good drinks, endless discussions and… spontaneous dances. Admittedly, it’s the people who create the atmosphere of this place. Worth of recommending are all the exquisite vodkas and liqueurs such as those flavored with lemon, wormwood or walnut; for abstainers – a great selection of teas, delicious coffee or thick hot chocolate, for a change – with cinnamon or chili powder. By the way, don’t forget to visit the café’s… toilet(!)- decorated in a very unconventional style it hides a little secret. Try to find out what it is!

Great place! I've heard it called no-name before too, but the truth is the inscription is correct - the real name is actually Mleczarnia.
