Spiffing. Lashings of imported Italian marble, en-suite bathrooms that are so capacious they could double up as Jay Joplin galleries, and an imposing colonnaded entrance that would do justice to a scene from Matrix - you half expect the Merovingian to be waiting for you just around the corner, sipping an illy. Neo-like leather coats not essential, but smart is certainly the order of the day - the scruffy rich are noticeable by their absence. Prices are eye-wateringly expensive, but not as high as some other, less fabulous, hotels in Warsaw. This is the city's boutique bullseye. Hit it.
