About Leopolis
Unless you're packing loads of cash and dressed like Brian Ferry, the closest you will get to this hotel is the entrance lobby - at which point the porters turn into a couple of mean-looking bouncers and gently usher you away. I'm afraid that the management of this hotel, in their overanxious desire to remain 'exclusive' are bound to lose out on the scruffy-but-rich guests of the Geldorf variety, as well as your Average Joe prepared to splash out madly for one night to avoid the hideous toilet facilities he's been suffering in Lviv for most of his stay. Even the outside cafe has been cunningly fenced in to stop the common riff-raff from pretending they are guests and drifting in for an expensive cup of coffee. A snob's hotel that deserves to go bankrupt but will, I fear, not merely survive but thrive.

Completely off-topic, but amusing nevertheless, Nicky Haslam once commented about Bryan Ferry that he was "more likely to redecorate a hotel room than to trash it."
