About Cross Club

If H.R. Giger were to design a club, it would look like Cross*. Winding hallways leading to room after room make it easy and fun to get lost in this place. I honestly can't say how many different rooms this place has, as once you start exploring you enter an Alice in Wonderland-style world, except with alternating techno, electro, or rock soundtracks instead of Disney melodies. Car parts, giant gears and winding mechanisms and other pieces of machinery and chrome adorn the walls, including the oddly-shaped light spheres that line the "mezzanine," a mid-level with a far too low ceiling to safely navigate after a few pilsners.

The simultaneous upside and downside of this place is that it's quite hard to find. From the city center, you need to go by metro or bus to get to it; the upside is, that means tourists rarely go there and it's mostly full of locals. The only way I found it was thanks to a Prague native friend.

*side note: There actually is a Giger-designed club somewhere in the French part of Switzerland - when I find it (again), I'll add a review ;)
