Nic Nowego
- Dubbing itself a 'modern Irish cafe', Nic Nowego has wisely sidestepped the stereotypes associated with typical Irish venues and is all the better for it. No football jerseys, no leering leprechauns wearing oversized hats and best of all no folk ballads dampening your appreciation of a pint of the black stuff. It may prove a disappointment to armies of stags looking for a suitable place to out-shout one another, but for those looking for a taste of home without the idiots we were trying to leave behind it's a small slice of heaven. The owner Tom has a knack of sourcing only the sauciest waitresses too, and the eye often goes home as pleased as the tummy. A word of warning however, don't round off a heavy drinking session by riding your bike home. Unless you have a burning desire to discover what the inside of Polish police cell looks like. (It ain't pretty!).

Triple Deck sandwich rocks the socks!
now there's too much lenny kravitz!! these people seriously need some music advice... or at least more variety in their playlist... phew!
rather disappointingly i have noticed a bit too much Cranberries on the airwaves recently... just after i was singing its praises for not being a cliched Irish bar! Hopefully a blip
They also have some of the best food in the city. The salads are delicious and quite affordable for a small (which is quite large actually), and their sandwiches are quite good as well. While expensive, the 55 zloty steak is well worth it.
and get drunk :)
Great place to watch football!
