"Nobody Writes To The Colonel," as you're more likely to hear it referred to in English, is one of Riga's cult destinations for a night on the Latvian tiles. Although often touted as a Bohemian or alternative hang out, it really depends on which night you set sail as to which land of debauchery you'll discover. Drum'n'bass, electro mash ups and acid jazz parties all take place, but don't be surprised either to find yourself dancing like a prize pillock to YMCA (again). Whichever night you go you'll find that, whilst the people aren't quite as prize-winningly beautiful as at some of the other clubs in town, they're much more friendly and laid back - meaning that you're in with a decent chance of a snog.
