By day Stajnia represents one of Kazimierz's more pleasant places to sit outdoors and enjoy a chicken salad, on the very alleyway famously shot by Spielberg for Schindler's List. Wicker chairs, a smattering of plant life and a few golden rays of sunlight all contributing to its charm. By night a nefarious transformation occurs and the management of Stajnia fool themselves into thinking they have created a hot nightspot. After being forced to cough up 5 zloty for entrance (unheard of in this part of Krakow!) you will then be subjected to a cornucopia of the worst radio hits of the previous three decades, dressed up with a few Latin beats. Frequenting this low-level disco are a geeky crowd of late twenty somethings enjoying their one night out of the year. Still, if you can stomach the music, you will pick up here.
