Thai, Japanese and Cantonese cuisine make up Horai's impressive three-pronged menu that will have your mouth watering long before your food arrives. Dishes like fried ginger chicken, Thai green curry and peppercorn beef all come with the Slinky seal of approval, whilst a range of tasty beers such as Singha, Tsing Tao and Asahi will have your fondly recollecting your travelling days in the Orient. On the downside the waitress during my last meal made me feel about as welcome as a paedophile at a kid's pool party. Smile love, it's not rocket science.

I agree the service is a bit hit-or-miss. A bit of competition would do no end of good. As it is, this is pretty much the only place where you can get a half-decent Thai meal....
