Fairly new, and in an unusually high position this incredibly clean and bright hostel is located in a crucial building for Riga's skyline. Some of the rooms offer incredible rooms of the main trainstation, the river and the east bank. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and immediately welcomes you into their loungy reception are. For you cyberjunkies out there - in the same building is one of the largest internet clubs around. The hostel is a little bland and sterile compared to some of the crazier backpacker haunts in town but this is with reason. They specialize in longer term accommodations and try and maintain a pretty mellow atmosphere. So if you happen get stuck in... in Riga, then give them a call and settle in for a couple years. You could do a lot worse.
