What unites the culinary landscapes of almost every city in the world; pizza of course. The ubiquitous pie also instigates fierce competition for the coveted official or unofficial title of best pizza joint in any given city. Who wants ketchup on Matzha when you could have a life-changing out-of-body (read Italy) exPIZZerience. Well, as an official judge of the International Pizza Council, I give Oregano 4.5 out of 5 pepperonis. The crust is thin and light, the sauce sweet and tangy and the toppings are fresh and inventive. They also have a full menu of other Italian aps mains, and steaks to choose from but you should consider these mere supplements to their savory succulent circles. The atmosphere is relaxed and the design is colorful if only the slightest bit cheesy in a feaux-Romanesque sense.
Oregano has another location on Bogusławskiego 101 and a more traditional Polish Restaurant on ul. Kużnicza 57/58. They also do some serious catering so if you happen to be planning an event (marriage, christening, bamitzvah, boat launch etc.) while you’re in town, look no further.
