- Crummy outside toilets, an inevitable crush at the bar, not enough seats, the air quality of a diesel-powered submarine under the ice cap, wildly overpriced designer bottled beers - the ingredients for a bar disaster are there in gluttonous portions, but despite management's best efforts to kill their business - well, Freud just rocks. The music is offbeat and hip, and the bar staff attitude to customers unashamedly to treat 'em mean to keep 'em keen. With no face control, the crowd is an eclectic mix of post-work boozers, whistle-wielding clubbers and underage wannabe alcoholics. A great London landmark, Freud is a strictly chrome-free zone that's as groovy as Austin Powers. Yeah baby!
