- After being tortured by the distorted bass lines emanating from the cellar of this nightclub for several weeks during a recent stay in Wroclaw, I finally summoned up the courage to poke my head inside No Name. I had a pretty good idea of what to expect, but even I was surprised by just how dirty the looks I got off the local slapheads were, which didn't stop at the bouncer who rather than asking me to leave (I had dragged some girl from Bezsennosc for a nightcap en route to my flat, and it was now closing time) prompted my departure with a shove in the shoulder blade. The monstrous, and completely wasted, oaf was also in charge of the cloakroom. Upon giving him our tickets he proceeded to fumble my coat onto the floor and then shout at me as if it was all my fault. I can imagine that No Name is some people's idea of clubbing heaven, but if you've got a modicum of good taste you won't fit in here - and what's more the locals will let you know it. Worth avoiding, especially late at night.
