- In a city full of cellars blasting out commercial crap to shaven-headed hooligans and their tanorexic girlfriends, Pauza is an antidote as refreshing as a slice of lime soaked in the bottom of a strong g'n't. An inconspicuous corridor, one flight of creaky wooden stairs and an unmarked entrance are all it takes to deter Krakow's undesirables from darkening their door, and you'll never find any football thugs, wannabe players or stag parties polluting the air in Pauza. If you're counted amongst the worthy what you will find, amidst a haze of cigarette smoke, are Krakow's most sophisticated sippers, discussing the latest artistic happenings in the city (as well as their new haircuts) to a soundtrack of breaks, electro and other assorted funky beats.
After the forming of the Pauza Foundation you can now also find a gallery, shop, cinema and club in the same building, as well as an endearingly shabby beer garden. -
