Kafka
About Kafka
Kafka, meaning cute, little coffee, in Polish is just that: cute and little. Two walls are windows, one wall is books and art, and the fourth wall showcases the tasty tarts, cakes and ice cream. This little gem, just down the hill from the University of Warsaw, is definitely the place to see and be seen. Warsaw's hipster set loves to enjoy a latte while checking their email on their Macbook and observing the pick-up badminton that regularly goes on during the summer months in the little field just next door. WiFi comes with the coffee, you can buy random books by the pound, and the people watching makes Kafka a favorite java joint.

Cool! Not named after Franz Kafka then?!! Shame I don't live in Warsaw, because I LOVE badminton and its so hard to find people and places to play it - in Krakow, at any rate...
