The original London superclub, Ministry of Sound can claim much of the credit for introducing house to the masses in the heady days of dance during the early nineties. Today MoS is one of London's most cosmopolitan clubs with party-goers making the pilgrimage from around the world to listen to top turntablists such as Smokin' Jo, Seb Fontaine and Paul Oakenfold. In fact these and just about every big name in the world of dance has played here. Cynics however deride the Ministry as a grade A tourist trap, and there's no doubt that the multi-million global branding of the venue, merchandise and record labels makes it the McDonalds of clubland. I'm loving it? Well once in a while...
