As you walk down Stolarska Stree before you even get to the French, German and American Consulates, you’ll run into the First Irish Mbassy in Krakow (no visa required & no bending over at the border). This place offers a hearty buffet of Sports on 12 large screens and has fantastic food to boot. Des cooks up a storm in the kitchen and dishes out some of the best Curries in Krak not to mention other original Irish and gourmet bar snacks. They obviously also house a huge selection of beers at their 3 bars spread over 3 dark wood high ceilinged floors. Their lovely staff will assure that you maintain diplomatic immunity (just don't try and get your passport stamped...). Unlike other Irish joints round town, the MBassy is owned by Irish, run by Irish.... but of course staffed by Polish. So drop in any day or night of the week to watch your favorite team hit/ kick/ throw/ pass/ shoot your favorite ball... but do be prepared to lay down some zloties because this Celtic Tiger don't come cheap.
