About Trattoria Pod Winogronami
The menu looked well thought out, though a tad expensive. My diner and I stuck to the Wednesday special and gave the vaguely uptight waiter our order. He returned a few minutes later replacing our already-there forks and knives, with a slightly longer fork, and another knife. Only god knows why, as I was having fusilli with salmon and spinach and my partner, spaghetti carbonara. Was their pasta so long it required cutting?
The pasta arrived quickly and was all in all, OK. The main issues here were the heavy handed use of oil and thick cream - both pastas were too heavy with the fusilli with spinach having a vaguely cheesy flavor. Totally unnecessary, and in the end, quite bland and required a dash of salt. Unfortunately, even for 9.90 I wouldn't do that to myself again.
Let's finish by defining "Trattoria", which this place claims to be. In Wikipedia it's described as a place with "generally no printed menus, the service is casual, the prices low, and the emphasis is on a steady clientele rather than on haute cuisine".
Does this define Trattoria pod Winogonami? I wish!

how many size forks are there officially? is there a website that explains the whole cutlery rubric?

they should have a cutlery menu to go alongside the normal one - so you can choose the right cutlery for each meal, since they obviously can't handle it themselves! :)
