- By far Krakow's biggest club, most foreigners have never even heard of Studio. The reason being is that it's a fair trek out of town, by the Wisla Stadium, in the middle of studentville. If you do make the long journey west you will find everything you might expect of a student club. Cheap beer, tacky tunes, table football and security you can easily blag (yeah, I'm studying Seismology at the Jagiellonian). Generally speaking it's not worth the effort - especially as your visit is bound to co-incide with somekind of exam session leaving you rocking up to an empty venue - but keep an eye out for special events as the odd decent act plays here, such as Roisin Murphy and GusGus. As if to reinforce the point that students are only quasi-adults, the bar at Studio serves beer (in plastic glasses) and no spirits.

Sadly, Klub Studio has pretty much the best sound system for live music of any venue of its size in Krakow (which isn't saying much, as there really are few mid-sized venues in Krakow), so if you're debating going for a concert here, at least know that the sound will be decent. Too bad it's so far out of the center of town.
