The Likus Hotel Group (who brought us the charming Hotel Pod Roza and the outstanding Hotel Copernicus) have come up trumps with this boutique hotel masterpiece. No expense has been spared in the renovation of this magnificent old mansion - which is right next to the city's Market Square (The Rynek). Not cheap, but top notch in every respect, the Stary fuses traditional period features with modern materials in a convincing manner. The Presidential Suite peculiarly has an exquisite bath slap bang in the middle of the bedroom, plus a writing desk and chair of ambassadorial proportions - the ideal setting for an After Eight ad.
