Bledne Kolo, or BK, as it is known amongst Krakow clubbing cognoscenti, is a difficult place to quantity. On its night it represents the most authentic clubbing experience in Krakow, with a grungy but good-looking crowd going crazy to electro until the small hours and beyond... sometimes way beyond. Arrive on a bad night however and all you will find is a few tracksuited oafs doing the Frankenstein on a deserted dancefloor, taking the occasional break to snog their unfeasibly fit girlfriend (how do they do it?). Friday meanwhile is ragga night. An inexplicably popular genre with middle-class kids rebelling against their parents.
