- Opened, as just about ever clubber in London knows, by Mr C. of the Shamen in 1995, The End is one of handful of clubs in the capital that enjoy reverential status. Famed for its kick-arse sound system, The End is a no-nonsense mid-size venue that delivers quality underground sounds... no handbag house here please! If the beats get a bit incessant under the arched ceiling of the main arena then the back room is well worth checking out too. Just for the record it was me that started that incredible encore at a Layo & Bushwacka! night a few years back. Credit where credit's due please.
