Occupying prime real estate on Darling Harbour, if you're visiting Sydney the chances are you'll happen upon Pontoon Bar whether you planned it or not. But despite being something of a tourist trap its hard to complain when you're on a waterfront bar with a lovely terrace, smooth interior, sexy sounds and adorable bar staff. The food is questionable and the bouncers robotic (ie. they would ID my gran if she were to turn up, so keep your passport in your back pocket), but other than that a good time is all but guaranteed. Even I have managed to get laid here, so the management must be doing something right.
