Q: How is the ranking calculated?
A: In order to deter naughty cheaters, we can't actually let you know exactly how we calculate ranking points. But we can let you know that it's a complex concoction taking into consideration the date you joined Viatribe, the ratings you've received, how many reviews you've posted, how often you post them. Basically this means that you can't just write a few great articles, receive unbelievable ratings, and expect to keep your top spot forever! We've made it this way to keep our writers active and involved... the more you use Viatribe the better your ranking will be!
Q: Sometimes when I search for a venue, it doesn't show up in the search results - even though I know it's there!
A: In the current version of Viatribe, you can search using venue name or city/town. This means that at the moment you can't search by country, or words in the article for example. However, even if you're not sure of the name of the city the venue is located in, or the exact spelling of the venue, you can write a few letters in the search box and all venues with those letters will display, giving you some hints for what you may be looking for!
